no clue. I dont really listen to the radio that often and when i do it's definately not the local rock station.

i'm more into listening to Jazz, oldies or talk radio when i have the radio on. i just assumed it was piss poor compression uploaded to youtube.

I agree. OHMSS's theme ROCKS. Put it up there with Casino Royale and TWINE as best.

Well, Moore wasn't that bad as James Bond. The James Bond movies/plots of the 1970s-1980s were just awful. However, The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only kick ass. Out of the 7 movies he did, these 2 are standouts; the rest is forgettable, except Star-Wars-Moonraker-with-Jaws-and-his-chick.

The 1960s Bond movies were great (Lazenby, Connery), but Connery did play in sucky movies like Moore. Dalton was not that bad but he clearly lacked something. Brosnan was great in Goldeneye; that was his only good movie. The World is Not Enough was barely saved by its opening theme (Garbage rocks!). He was not bad as an actor but the awful plots/surrounding cast (villains mostly) really brought down the movies (TND, DAD).

Craig is probably one of the best Bonds and will probably consolidate his standing with Quantum of Solace. One thing to consider though. All Bonds were played differently (Connery "Don't mess wit me", Roger Moore "Humor 101 and haf sex", Dalton "No Charisma", Brosnan "Too-Much-Charisma-One-Man-Show", Craig "Wounded, Brooding, Soulless POS"). While some people may prefer Roger Moore's acting over Connery's, others think it's the opposite. In other words, it's pretty tough to say who's on top...

CR seemed much closer to Bond than any of the Dalton and weak-ass Brosnan movies. Mainly b/c he was more like the Bond in the books: A cold, soulless badass.

I was thinking it might be terrible, but I came away impressed.

it wasn't even how he looked or acted. the movie was just bad. there no story. it was just a complete jumble of nothing that lasted way too long.

I'll give you length, but it was appropriate.

i liked the previous bond movies, even the brosnan ones (although brosnan wasn't as good as the older guys), better than CR. I just enjoyed them more. I don't know why, i just did.

that's a terrible transfer. It's as if the author purposefully made it sound awful by not even encoding it correctly.

I'm going to reserve my judgment until I hear a better quality/transfer and how it fits with the movie intro.

What is with the weird chord of electric guitar from Jack and an moan that is supposed to echo the guitars key from Alicia? Ugh!

The verses seem to have like 1 or 2 different notes - its like all monotone!! Might as well just talk the words (Jack already is - and his voice is kinda bleh).
