Worst movie ever?

that deep water or what ever it was called

the one where the two characters get stranded in the middle of sea, after their scuba party ****** off with out them, and they get attacked by sharks. it was such a pointless movie. they floated for an hour, then drowned themselves. woot

edit... wasnt deep water, wtf was it called? it was that gash that ive forgotten

I was entertained by Battlefield Earth along with A sound of Thunder. Any kind of sci fi that has some new different idea or take on sci fi makes it entertaining. Who cares about holes in the story?

Can this guy even make a semi decent movie? I'm not really familiar with him, but I will say that I have a friend who mentioned blood rayne was quite possibly the worst movie he's ever seen. And just yesterday I was flipping through the channels and watched a random 15 minutes of House of the Dead and it was TERRIBLE.

the WORST part of battlefield was how they would have the aliens talking in some alien language, then it would transition to english and at that time, the humans speaking would then be speaking some jibberish. and then it would transition back.

that was THE WORST IDEA EVER!! :|

For Me, Deep Impact

That movie was so cheesy that when the father and daughter were on the beach waiting for the title wave to kill them, I could hear everyone in the theatre gasping. I burst out laughing and could not stop. My girlfriend(at the time) and her daughter were mortified. I just kept on laughing.

Tough call. The two that immediately come to mind are V for Vendetta and Barry Lyndon. But those are probably the most "disappointingly bad" in reality and not actual worst.

Guess I don't share movie taste with most in here, I loved 21 grams and unbreakable and kind of liked history of violence (though it was a bit overrated).

There was a movie in the mid-70s called "Scanners", the trailer showed one guys head exploding!
You would think there would be more of this type exitement, but NOOOOOO!
That was the one and only "Action" scene in the whole movie, and that was near the end. Had nothing whatsoever to do with the plot, IIRC.
The rest merely consisted of a bunch of scheming, planning and high-tech "gobbldygook", boring, boring, boring!

The worst chick flick I ever watched was that movie with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves...don't know what it was called but it was so bad the highlight was Keanu's awful acting.

I have to add Kingdom of Heaven to the list. They should have turned the script and actors over to the history channel, at least they would have made it entertaining.
