OMG that movie was horrible. I don't know if it was horrible horrible or just a horrible disappointment.

I mean, here you have great talent and the potential to be a really funny movie, but it was so dry.. so dead pan, it was intolerable. EVERYONE (me, wife, mom, brother) fell asleep half way through.

Gods & Generals, I think it was called. Some 74-hour civil war epic with no appealing qualities to be found. Horrible, boring, long. I wanted to leave at the intermission, but a friend convinced me to see it through. He apologized profusely when it was over.

Glory is still > all other civil war flicks.

Same movie I always reply with Raising Cain, I paid for my g-friend (wife) to see this gut wrenchingly awful POS back in the day and have been angry about it ever since.
I was laughing in the theatre at the "scary" or "edge of your seat" parts and people were acually getting mad at me...

Not many of us would be stupid enough to pay to see a movie with that title.

Well I sort of got it for my brother as a really lame Christmas gift. He likes watching absolutely terrible movies and laughing at them, so there ya go...

That was the one and only "Action" scene in the whole movie, and that was near the end. Had nothing whatsoever to do with the plot, IIRC.
The rest merely consisted of a bunch of scheming, planning and high-tech "gobbldygook", boring, boring, boring!

I just netflixed scannners. While it wasn't the most entertaining I really liked the art the one scanner mad along with all the other set scenery.

Hmm. Fortunately, I've never seen any of those stinkers. Hell, I haven't even heard of most of them.

They need to make a rating/gross ratio...What fraction of people have actually seen those?

IMDB does a good job of rating movies, they have some formula that cuts out some ratings of 0 or 10 if there are a lot, I'm guessing the majority of people voting for those gave it 1-3...and seriouly meant it

I agreed with just about all the posts till I read this one - I couldn't possible disagree you more than with the LOTR statement. All 3 were great (expecialy the extended versions).

I enjoyed the book Da Vinci Code - but the movie wasn't good - they missed so much detail
