I don't remember the name of the movie, but Ben Afflack was in it and the plot was something about him paying a family to pretend to be his family.

what a terrible piece of sh*t that was.

i remember a guy 3 rows behind me yelling, when alexander got shot with an arrow "hell fvcking yes!" (this was after much other cursing during the movie, that i joined in on)

when the black out came back to alexander sitting, he let forth a beautiful string of curses that i can not recall

When I saw it on Showtime I thought it was a made for cable movie. I thought it was good for a cheesy sci-fi movie of the week and Saffron Burrows was a nice bonus!

Worst movie was Shark Boy and Lava Girl. Even my kids thought it sucked.

Undead. I got it at Blockbuster in one of their "3 used DVDs for $25" things. I struggled to make it through 10 minutes. I barely made it through the 25 minute mark before giving up, and I'm the type who tries to make it all the way through a book or movie even if it's bad, but this movie was just truely awful.

I actually liked History of Violence, but I watched it at home and had read or heard nothing about it, and so had no expectations one way or the other. Not excellent or anything, but definitely worth watching.

I agree on most other choices in this thread, including the Star Wars prequels (I waited 20 years for that?! You turkey-necked blob, "you won't escape this time"), and especially Alexander.

I can't even remember which movie was the worse, it simply was erased from my mind. when you're a student all you think about is what is good and what's bad and then you blot out the bad stuff and try to keep in the good

but I didn't like Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, I thought the marketting campaignZ were ingenious... but the movie itself totally sucked. Square Enix should not have released such a dumb movie, stupid storyline and the movie was too damn short for it's kind.

Open Water w/o a doubt. I never heard of it but my friend was saying "oh this movie is awesome and getting good reviews." I'm hesitant, but say fine. Worst mistake ever.

After we left the theater, I look at him and said, "I lost all respect for your opinion of a good movie. Don't ever tell me what movie I should see since I will definately never want to see it".

I wanted to drown myself way before the ship left the couple stranded. I should have told my friend that he should of join them.

I liked that movie. Terrence Malick is an acquired taste, though.

I liked that movie too, but I think I would've snoozed if the subs weren't on...its one of those movies where dialogue is very limited and everything that is said is rather important, but can easily go in one ear and out the other...gotta watch it with subs!!

I love bad movies, I regularly enjoy such gems as Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter or Night of the Lepus but the worst movie I've seen in theatures (at my wife's behest) was either Glitter or Pearl Harbor. Words fail me when describing how awful these films truly were.

I saw the MST3K version: it's badness is overrated. Mostly its boring and pointless, even the heckling by Joel and the bots wasn't that funny. It's like with Ed Wood constantly being called "the worst movie maker ever." It's a tag that's stuck even though there are many many bad films out there that are far far worse than the above films ever could be. I've seen Manos, I've seen Plan 9 from Outer Space. Undead trumps them. Easily. And as horrible as it was, I'm sure there are movies even worse than that, hard as I find that to believe.

edit: worst movie that i didn't have to pay to see was Last Year at Marienbad, a french film i was forced to watch in film class last semester. Total waste of two hours of my life.
