ATi *does* play dirty in their PR! That is the *entire* point. They have no need whatsoever to drag nVIDIA into their PR campaigns, but they do so and have done so *constantly* for years. nVIDIA on the other hand hardly ever drags ATi into its PR campaigns, and when they do, they don't exaggerate, lie or deceive.

They post a lot of good, unbiased information concerning 3D in general, including discussion of ATi's good technological aspects. They are valuable members of Beyond3D and the forums would be poorer without them.

As for Digital Wanderer, yes, he *used* to post here - until he was banned - just like he's been banned almost everywhere except Beyond3D and Elite bastards...

That those three are swell guys doesn't change the fact that they were contracted via AEG by nVidia to be stealth marketers which by itself is a dirty marketing tactic. What the hell? They were given free hardware by AEG to talk up nVidia's products on the forums while hiding that they are now affiliated with nVidia. What do you call it if not an attempt of stealth marketing? That's the purpose why AEG contacted them and gave them the hardware. You think they were given free stuff just for altruistic reasons? nVidia just woke up one day and decided, hey let's give away some free video cards for fun?
