Worst purchase you made in the last year or so?

A few months ago, I put down $1300 on a Tablet PC. I figured it was a good price when I bought it since it had dual core, 1 GB RAM, and a nice sized HDD. Today, I wish I had spent that money on a 42" LCD TV

1800 total on an x61 tablet. Wish I get some of my money when I sell though. 2.5GB ram and a 7200 RPM HD though.

Nah, it's not even mine, I bought it for my dad for Christmas. I don't think he's bought any discs -- just has the free ones that came with it. Agreed it's still a great upconverting player.

If he got any of the base models within the last 4 months, he actually probably got a good deal. Some of the higher-end models, yeah, not so dealworthy.
