<< Hell, MI >>

lol, the "city"(more like 2 houses and a big sign) isnt bad itself.

Apparently most of you have never been to Flint, Mi, where i attend college. There is the ultimate hellhole. Its funny, though, prices are always cheaper there. Taco Bell, McD, Burger King, all are cheaper in Flint than by my house.

Greenville, SC

The people are stupid backwards bible-beaters, nobody can drive, and there's nothing to do. Can't wait to get out.

Lawton, Oklahoma. Zero to do, lousy weather, idiotic people, dry county. It makes Newark, NJ look fabulous - I know.

Dekalb Illinois...(NIU)

When I was there they had 100 consecutive overcast days, a high rate of suicide, black on white crime by Black greek members w/ canes, UGLY women, and it snowed the last week of May. The only redeemable value is the Cindy Crawford is from there (if you like her)

Beaver Falls, PA:

BORING, BORING, BORING. There's a college in town and nothing to do. Crappy movie theatre and two pizza places (one which is a hide-out for drug dealers). Oh, and we have a convenience store! WAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely. It's on the Georgia section of Lookout Mountain. It's also home to a dinky little tourist trap you might have heard of: Rock City. They've had a semi-famous advertising campaign all over America in the past, where they had hundreds of Barn Roofs painted to say "See Rock City".

Carbo: I happen to love living in South Florida.... Coral Springs is a damn nice city.... If your referring to Miami (and some of the surrounding cities), then i understand, but Miami aint all of South Florida... Granted they regulate how everything looks here (No store signs on the street, House color must be approved by the city, no boats parked in driveways during the week) but it makes a difference and the city looks good. As for education, I think the local schools are very top notch compared to others that I have seen and lived near. The crime rate is low, there is very few if any homeless people in CS, and the city is just a fun place to live being only 15 minutes from the beach. If im not mistaken the median age is around 33-34 with about 31% of the population under the age of 18 and only 6% are old farts (over 65). Combining that with a median income of around $62,000 makes for a pretty nice all around city...

I personally haven't lived there, but Milwaukee, WI is disgusting. It smells godawful between the lake and the breweries, is one big slum (until you hit the suburbs), there's no place to park, driving is a nightmare and knifings and shootings are just everyday things. My brother lives in Oak Creek and even that's too close to Milwaukee proper for me. I'm spoiled by living in a relatively crime-free suburb of one of the best cities in the country.

BTW, my uncle lives in Renton, WA, and I've visited him a couple of times. I have to agree that it's an armpit.

<< Gary, Indiana: The armpit of america. >>

ROFLMFAO hahah that was the only thing going through my mind when I was reading this thread. That was what a guy I worked with who was from Chicago would say all the time. But there are success stories - look how Michael Jackson turned out?

I used to live in Lehigh Valley, PA, and it wasn't bad (close to NYC at least ), but I have to say I was NOT happy driving to the Jersey shore through Philadelphia and Camden. There's a very small strip of nice museums and restaurants in downtown Philly but the rest of the place is a freaking warzone. And Camden...well, if Gary is the armpit, I think Camden, NJ and most of Philly, PA must be the crotch...

<< Fort McMurray, Alberta >>

Hahah I worked there for a summer. Somehow, the five hour drive to and from Edmonton didn't seem that long in comparison with the prospect of a weekend in McMurray. Add to that the fact that they had expired food in the Safeway (in 94 at least), and the fact that property is like $400k for a 3 bedroom house, and I have to agree with you. Oil Can Tavern forever baby!

How can you answer this?

Ive lived in over 15 states and visited many others.

I pretty much hate the Area East of the Mississippi but there are nice places there.

I love the West and Northwest and there are really sh!tty places there. Try Kingman, Arizona

Worse Ive ever lived, where I am now in S Florida with all the rude, old, foreighn, heat addled natives and New York Democrat snow birds. (Hope I didnt leave anyone out)

Florida is OK if you can stand or like the heat and humidity, its just the people that live here that ruin it.

You must be drinking the tap water which is BTW another reason to hate philly. I've lived in a few philly neighborhoods, worked in all of them and let me tell you, there are sections of this town that should be nuked. I just cannot put into words my utter disgust with philadelphia pa. I cannot wait to get to the city limits when i finally leave this dump so i can spit on the ground and give the whole darn place the finger.
