I get zits on my ass. He said "asshole." Not "ass-crack." There are blood vessels there that can get infected and full of puss. That's called a Hemorrhoid, hence, that's what he had.

Indeed, a hemorrhoid is an "infected and inflamed tissue"-- but we're talking about muscle tissue. It occurs when one strains too much, or simply sits too long on the damn toilet (greater than 3-5 minutes) habitually. It comes from a rip in muscle tissue; or let's be more direct: YOUR FORCED EXPULSION OF YOUR RECTUM OUT OF YOUR ASSHOLE. See, this is what happens when someone... "pushes"




A zit is a bacterial infection, bottom line. Now, it's possible, but unlikely (except in perfect location), that zit, pain, pop, infection, hemorrhoid...but again, a hemorrhoid is burst capillaries after strain, not a simple open wound. The body is generally quite good at taking care of itself, particularly in that area...and especially with infections.

A hemorrhoid comes about after "repeated use." and it stays. because it's vascular. an infected wound is an infected wound, and not what one would call a hemorrhoid. It has a bad name for a reason because, well, like the herp, it comes back, and back...and back. I simple bacterial infection, typical of zit-pop-re-infection, is not chronic. hemorrhoids can be....

worst was one I had on my forehead in high school, about 1 inch above the brow, smaller than a dime but it was about 3-4MM tal, maybe 5mm, full of puss, wouldnt pop, kept on pushing on it with my 2 index fingers squeezing the eye of it to get it to burst, 2 feet from the mirror, then finally it gave and puss squirted straight out into the mirror and made a probably 6 inch splatter, then the blood came

Cutting yourself like that seems pretty hardcore

Yeah, it felt hardcore.

I waited 6 weeks, it didn't go away or even shrink. Had to cut down almost 1/8 of an inch to get to the thing. Lot of pressure under there, shot out a small jet when I cut it open.

I think I would have just sterilized a needle(as in sewing) instead, at least it wouldn't do as much damage.


And yeah ones in the ear can be really annoying as often there's no good way to get to them.

This thing was deep. I figured a larger open cut would be easier to clean than a relatively deep puncture wound. I'd probably have had to widen the needle hole anyway to get it all out.

I've also gotten one or two small ones in the ear. Think I used a small curved nail file.

Confirmed by OB. Sebaceous cyst on labia majora. Hot washcloth to get things to soften a bit, and squeeze like normal, scratching with a needle if needs be. It is wicked the things that come out of there.

I'm sitting there, jaw dropped wide open as I'm working on popping it (we got to play Dr. for reals woot), and got blasted. We still laugh about that one.

Nail clippers you can get the cut itself over quickly with with a near instantaneous pinch of the fingers. A traditional knife, however sharp, is going to require careful, slow, and methodical slicing and stabbing. Which would you prefer?

Just below my neck in back near the spinal cord. It built and built over a few years. Didn't know what it was.

Basically looked and felt like a lump under the skin, with no real head. Maybe 1cm or more diameter. Didn't hurt at all.

Eventually I picked at it and got foul smelling discharge. I drained that sucker bit by bit daily for about a week.
I'd scrape some solidified gunk through the opening and a fresh flow of juices would follow.

It tried to re-form but I squoze it out again and now it's gone for good.
