I suggested 50 or so, but I don't think anyone cares. "Back in the day" it was considered polite to register and then lurk for a while to get a feel for the flow of a forum. I was a lurker here from the start, I just didn't bother registering for a few years.
My question is what's with the influx of people from Turkey all of the sudden?
It's virtually a "ghost town" nowadays. You'll read regular post from about 100 or so "regular" members. Others just lurk and decide to post only when they feel like it. It's not the same AT-OT from 10 years ago. Lot's of members have found a life outside these forums and found betters thing to do. :\
It's because Skoorb left us
True enough. We need more old timers back, the ignore list can only do so much. I've tried to quit coming here, but I've been here almost half of my life, so it's pretty ingrained.
If anandtech required 500 posts in the greater forum before allowing access to atot would there be only get off my lawn posts?
The trolls be out in full force.
oh and one time at band camp I saw an obese counselor step on a squirl and liquefy it.
