I'm a traditional j-RPG fan, but lately I've gotten into action RPG's (since that's all they seem to be making for consoles outside of gameboy games). loved the Fable series (even the third one, at least gameplay-wise) and I'm enjoying the action-y feeling of Dragon Age 2 on my 360 as well.
everyone seems to rave up and down about ME2 and it's got me thinking about playing it when I'm done with DA2... my problem, though, is that I hate shooters. even Fallout 3 was too shooter-y for me (I felt like I kept finding myself in situations when I was getting shot at from god knows where and I couldn't do a thing about it but run away and go work on a different quest). I really dug what I played of Mass Effect 1, but it fell apart for me when I got control of the ship, didn't know where the hell to go/what to do, flew to a planet at random, and then died like 30 seconds later.
how does the console gameplay of ME2 compare to ME1?
