I have an i5 2500K overclocked to 4.5GHz. Would this CPU bottleneck 2 GTX 670s in SLI? My 2 GTX 460 1GB are getting long in the tooth.
LOL i used to think my cpu bottlenecked my 2 gtx670 cards....but now realized at 1080p its a different story.
In soviet russia, games are bottleneck at 1080p for sli gtx670 video cards!
670 sli for 1680x1050 is a bit silly.
When you play at 500+ fps, the response precision in control is on another level.

his monitor does not do 3D. if he wants to spend 800-850 bucks to run insane levels of AA at 1680 then I think his priorities are screwed up. and without cranking insane levels of AA, that setup will be cpu limited in so many cases at just 1680x1050 that its really not worth it IMO.If he wants to maintain 60fps and/or use SGSSAA, 3D...why not?
its illogical to be so worried about IQ that you spend 800-850 bucks on gpus to use high levels of AA for just a 1680x1050 screen. maybe I should go get a 1024x768 screen to crank the AA up with a single gtx670.I can respect other priorities than my own ones. I wouldn't call SGSSAA "insane" but very nice. So to each his own.
yeah that must be it...So you cannot accept other priorities and are just trolling. That about it?
other question
can a i5 3570k handle a sli 670 without bottleneck?

Because my 5:4 1280x1024 display died last week, I had to buy a 23" 1080p one and consequently had to lower or turn off SGSSAA. Welcome shimmering and aliasing - doesn't look pretty. The bigger screen is very nice, but the trade-off is definitely not.
