I've got the SX1240, and very interested in Antec's filter, USB & Firewire ports in the front for the performance plus series.

I've got a solution for your filter config. I just bought a a/c filter from ace hardware today. Looks almost exactly like the one in the picture (the grid spacing is larger though). Using a "supported" filter is very handy because you can drill though the plastic and directed mount it. Use some imagination ... you can drill and tap your case, or attach it to the front lower bezel.

I don't think you're right on that..

The filter looks to be a direct fit to the old case as I just took a look at my older case's bottom area and it has the exact same design as the new one.. the inside of the old bezel and the new bezel has the same opening at the bottom for the filter and two slots for it's clips.. the additions are added above the filter area and don't appear to affect the original design of the bottom area of the bezel..

Edit: Too bad I haven't find a good source to obtain one of those stock filters yet.. I don't like my jury-rigged filter (see above post) very much..
