Think about it when you are calmed down. everyone here has done really stupid things before, i would beat him up for that, and then lend him a hand to stand him up. whatever people do, family is family.

Exactly. You whip his ass, because he's your brother.

Then you help pick him up off the ground, because he's your brother.

I feel the EXACT same way. Generally speaking most pets can't protect themselves... Hence, I'd have a field day whipping my brothers ass (Drunk or Not) if he pulled some half assed stunt like that.

If you are really mad, Kick the dog...it will make you feel better...

I'm surprised your pup is still there...a puppy has a short attention span. It goes from..."sniff sniff...is that poop?"...to...''Look...a squirrel!"...to...I think I'll lick myself for a bit"...to..."uh-oh...this doesn't look like my yard!"

I had an adult dog that usually would stay put. I'd let him out of the apt, he would go into the wooded area near me to do his thing, and then when i would call he would come running if he wasn't already waiting outside the sliding glass door. BUT...every once in awhile I would call and call and he was no where to be found. I usually found him a few streets away. Obviously he would go sniffing and not realize he wasn't next to his home anymore.

But for your brother, wait for him to sober up, then b*tch at him. More than likely, it was an honest mistake and he will be apologetic.

So is there a study equivalent to the testosterone study in regards to dogs? It's a FREAKING DOG! They're meant to be outside. Jeez!

i drove his ass around today to find some ****** for his costume..and then left him with my roommate (also brothers old roommate) and they were hanging out, drinking, etc...
ok...so ive also got a new puppy...and from time to time he gets yappy when he knows people are here but arent playing w/ him...a problem i'm still trying to iron out...so they are outside and the pup is barking...they let him out...supposedly tie him up...this is all cool...

WELL...i get home about 6 hours later and the poor guy is hiding in the bush...shivering and whimpering...apparently they didnt tie him up and they left him in the cold...on top of all this...my last dog just died and if this one would had run away...i probably would have killed my brother...but luckly he is the best dog ever and just stayed put. anyways...i called my brother to ask him wtf his problem was and he was too drunk to talk to...so i took him in and got him all warmed up and clean...he is fine and just as happy as ever...but i am still extremely pissed...even if he was drunk he should have been smart enough to bring him back inside before they left...i manage to do plently of things more complex than this when i'm drunk, so he cant give me the 'i was drunk' bullshit...
i really miss him and enjoy hanging out with him since he is gone all the time now, but this is really making me angry...i'm thinkin about asking him to stay somewhere else while he is here...that or beating the ****** out of him...

cliffs:
bro left my dog outside in the cold unchained/fenced

I'll fsck any man up who fscks with my dog. And they're not just freaking dogs, has it occurred to you people that normal human beings attach emotional value to animals they live with. Not to mention, you're completely forgetting that the large majority of dogs are 100% domesticated; they can't live outside of human support.

Not the bastardized "dogs" that were bred as human playthings. They generally can't survive the cold.

Yea, not yay.

And yes, I would be quite annoyed if someone I entrusted my pet to acted in a grossly negligent manner.

I know this woman would beat up anyone who messed with her dog.
I also know this woman would kill anyone who dared to mess with her cats.

But it's your brother. Just...yell at him a lot. Your dog is fine, so no harm done.
