Would we be better off with Gore dealing with terrorism?

The title pretty much says it all. So what do you think? I personally am glad Bush is in charge because Gore struck me as a lot of talk and no substance, and talk is not what we need right now.

It's better that bush is pres because the Deomcrats are willing to drop politics and rally behind him, but the Republicans would have kept on and on karping about what a worthless scumball he is, and they would have tried to block anything in the way of legislation he would have proposed. Only the Democrats have the emotional maturity to unite.

This Independent thinks Gore would have done much the same as Bush, but with far less efficiency.

I know it doesn't matter, I just am curious what you guys think.

And don't make me argue about whether Democrats have more "emotional maturity" than Republicans. Seriously, can anyone go five minutes in any political discussion without saying that the liberal point of view is more "mature" or "open minded"?
