I am a little surprised by some of the comments so far, but to each his/her opinions !
Personally, as I said, I would definitely buy it. I already got Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 for Windows XP (yes yes, I did bought Halo 2 for Vista, but Vista has tremendous problems with refresh rates and CRT's, see my thread on the Operating Systems forum about it, so I went back to XP and used a crack to play it on XP instead). And even though I prefer the original, I still like the sequel (if it wasn't for those stupid Jackal Snipers I wouldn't be so annoyed in the later levels).
I do not own a 360, and I do not plan to buy one. I can't stand Console gaming anymore due to their controllers and because shooters is my favorite genre. But I still believe that Bungie knows how to make good games. The graphics aren't that of Crysis', but it's all about fun. There's a sense of exaggeration and unfit comedy about that series that I've always liked, and much more. I would like to get Halo 3 for the simple purpose of entertaining myself on one of those rainy days during a week-end, just have fun without having to, nor wanting to analyze the game-play in any ways, shapes or forms.
