Out of curiosity, I had a look at the recent posts I've made here. Of the 16 different threads I recently posted in (listed in "my forums"), just 1 of the threads (i.e., this one) pertained to sexual orientation. That's around 6% of my posts. It's pretty odd that you find that excessive or even notable. The fact that you take so much notice when I do post on issues related to sexual orientation makes me think you have some kind of problem with gay people. But you're not that interesting of a person or poster, so I guess I don't care much about the exact nature of your issue. I would just offer you the same advice I offered the other whiner, which is if you don't like my threads don't click on them.

Good going pulling the 'Angry Gay Man' act. If it makes it easier for you though you can keep thinking I'm a gay hater. :roll:

When I worked at Blockbuster in Seattle, it turned out that one of the assistant managers was gay. It was kind of funny when the topic came up (I don't remember how it did) but he was shocked that I hadn't known or suspected that he was gay.

You know, to be fair let's think about this objectively.

If your sexual and romantic interest in women brought you constant disgust, hate and scorn from a large portion of the population, and those reactions were almost daily in occurrence, how would YOU react?

I can almost guarantee it would dominate your thinking and world view, and the subject would be prominent in many of your posts.

aidanjm is a young gay man who is open about his sexuality. As such, he faces near constant negative reactions in his day to day life. A situation few of us would be able to tolerate, and of those with the strength to live with that, most would become jaded activists.

The suicide rate of young gay men is alarmingly high. Is it any wonder why?

Give the guy some slack here. Most of you could NEVER live with the daily bullsh!t he lives with.

I have no quarrel with aidanjm and if he's decided to take the role of gay activist, that's his concern. He just never seems to get that it grates after a while for some people.
