Fucking Christ almighty, dude. Take a course in genetics. Not all mare mules are incapable of producing offspring, and neither would be an early female homo sapiens.

Does it hurt to be so dumb?

Where is the fail? These kinds of debates among scientists are commonplace and healthy for the production of reliable facts. The figures tossed around by the scientists in the article were just estimates, and since that article was published radiometric dating has reliably placed the fossils at about 430,000 ybp -- which is perfectly consistent with all previously held anthropological histories.

Neanderthal to human? It's not looking good for that.. http://www.reasons.org/articles/neanderthal-to-human-link-severed
Um, brainiac, everybody already knows that neanderthals and homo sapiens were separate species sharing a common ancestor, overlapping in history, and interbreeding among the two populations. This isn't news, nor is it a problem for evolution.

At the end of the day,They're still Blackcaps and Finches. They can still interbreed with each other(within their respective species),no matter how far removed.
You don't appear capable of apprehending the significance of the point I made previously. Your claim is like saying its impossible for a tree to have branches because they always stay connected to the trunk. It's moronic and absurd.

Are you here just to make Christians look bad?

And how could we prove consciousness existed before life?

I'd rather focus on the fresh notion that space (distance) is just a construct of our plane of existence (or perception) and that there are things which transcend distances. That there would, in fact, be omnipresent forces we're only beginning to grasp.

Then you could make an argument that consciousness is such a thing.

If you're thinking along the lines of this article when you say rabbits..LOL

"?? ??Over time, they became so different genetically that they couldn’t interbreed when they did meet again. The frequency of traits/genes had changed so dramatically that the rabbits had become two distinct species! "
Hahahahaha..Nothing like that has ever happened.Ever!
PS:article starts "Once upon a time"

Q:What exactly did a Gorilla evolve into?
Adapting is not evolving.

Viruses are very good at adapting.
Q:What does the FLU virus evolve into?
A:The FLU virus.

I can say this without any hyperbole:

you are dumber than fuck.

It is proven that consciousness is a fundamental feature of reality, like space-time, gravity, mass, charge etc? This would mean that consciousness came first and was here from the start, something being seriously considered by people who aren't crackpots in today's scientific studies of consciousness.
Consciousness existing before biological life would go against the materialist world view directly.

I would question how it is possible to know that consciousness existed before biological life. I would question the validity of the claim.

Even if that WERE true, it in no way proves that a deity exists.

So... the answer to your question is no.

I hope you don't have, or never get diabeetus.

You see, a reality without evolution would sure suck for you if that ever happens.

(hint: it means you aren't allowed to seek the help of modern medicine, as evolution does not exist in your pea brain)

Chimps and humans had a common ancestor. Humans did not evolve from chimps.

Not even going to bother with your carbon dating shenanigans. Far too many ignorant people pontificating to even bother fighting the Army Of Stupid.

Neanderthal isn't an ancestor of homosapien. We're cousins.

Carrots evolving from purple to orange is a genetic mutation that has occurred in the past 200 years. I bet you refuse to believe that.

Antibiotics stop working because of evolution. Bacteria evolve to survive the antibiotics. The fucking flu, you fucking knob. This is evolution. This is what you refuse to believe, in the face of a literal planet full of evidence.

Sounds like they deconverted you. That was my experience when I moved to a small midwestern town that had a bible college. Arrived as a parochial-school educated german catholic, left an atheist.

In this age it's relatively stress free to be an atheist. Stress free is good. The pressures to "believe" are aggravating.

But at the end of the day what does it matter what you profess to believe? Isn't that beside the point?

Beside what point? It can't be beside the point of the thread. So it's your comment that seems beside the point.

I thought it would be obvious to the two of you that I preferred the explanation meaning to "change" (which can only be done by the individual) as the context of my original post on this subject was clearly concerning the change from theism to atheism.

Had I meant "convinced", I would have said it.

The only persons with any agendas are those meaning to obscure and misrepresent my posts.

As per your reply to me re: your original post; your original post on this subject wasn't serious.

Are you now saying it was serious?

If you feel your posts are misrepresented you should be clearer when wording your posts; you've played the word usage game before just like a lot of other people including Christians (witness schmuckleys posts in this thread), and then complain when other posters call you on it.

I would actually like to know what the point of this thread is. I'm reasonably confident that the only honest answers would include neffing and harassing the mentally handicapped. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm still snickering at "sharp as a tennis ball".

Unless the OP intended for people to nef and harass the mentally handicapped, that can't be it, surely?

TBH I would have to say no. I would believe in god if he/she/it would reveal itself to everyone on earth at the same time and cleared up all of the "confusion". We don't argue and debate if the air we breathe or if the sun is real do we?

Many people don't understand what Mythology is and how it affects their judgement in the real world. If you tell some people what they believe is mythology you could be killed in the name of their deity because all other myths (faiths) are false for they are the only ones with THE Truth. Heil God!!!

Human chromosome two pretty well proves apes and us evolved from a common ancestor.

Speaking of medicine; Here's something about 1/2 of the team that invented antibiotics:

Chain was actually the lead on the project.

At this point, it seems safe to assume that the purpose of this thread has... evolved.

Look, all I know for sure about this thread is that, well, two things actually.
1. schmuckley's name is incredibly apropros.
2. schmuckley is the most unintentionally hilarious poster I've run across in a little while.
