Would you buy a i-pod video???

I saw the i-pod on the news. I just wonder how many people will buy it. I know i am not. Because watch tv and listen music are totally different. For example, a boss maybe would allow his/her employee listen music when they are working. But watching TV, forget it.

you have to understand something about Apple......they have a pretty good marketing team...enough to make their legion of fans actually believe that they are innovators of the industry.

Too true. I would never buy an iPod unless it was the best price for the features I want... I don't want to pay for the "chic" factor. I'll probably get some type of pvp when I have some money to spare, but I don't really need one.

Some people pay for portability. Nano's fit in an altoids tin, fit in my wallet, fit everywhere. Thats a winning product for me.

They can fit all those electronics into such a small package and they want us to believe they can't make it more scratch-resistant? I don't buy that bs. If they made them more resilient against scratching, I'd get a nano and the new one that plays video. I have the 40gb 3rd gen.

that is why you listen to mp3's while at work, and you can watch some video while you're commuting.

Although i can forsee some idiot crashing his/her SUV while watching/showing off a video.

The new one is exactly the same width as the old one, it is thinner however. I never owned an Ipod before and the inclusion of the video put me over the edge and I bought one. So far I love it.
