This one

Wow, that thing is clean! I'd love to own me one, one of these days. It still brings a smile to my face every time I see one on the road.

I would love to have one (if I had the money and garage space).

Doesn't seem overpriced in general, but still, $30k for a 20 year old Honda, not so happy with that idea.

The old disc changer is luls.

Definitely That would definitely be one of the more simple to maintain quasi-exotics out there. It would probably even be dependable after a high-quality aftermarket supercharger setup.

The NSX is an icon. I'm not even a huge Honda fan but I'd love to own one. Takes me back to the old Need for Speed games.

I was shopping for one last year for about 3-4 months but could never reach a deal on the ones I wanted. There aren't too many good ones available so it can be a long wait til you find the right car @ the right price. I've moved on and haven't looked recently but I'm still open to one. I like the pre-2002 ones with the pop-up headlights.

I do believe this is the first case of "too many pictures" I have ever witnessed first hand.

I think the USA only got the Acura NSX (same as Honda NSX). I had the opportunity to drive one of these on a 120 mile round trip. It was beautiful to drive. The visibility is amazing for such a low profile car. The transmission was minimal effort and crisp and the engine absolutely wailed if you wanted to push it. If I had the disposable cash, I'd have one of these as my weekend cars. MMMMM.

30k for a 1991 used Honda? I don't see why that is a good deal.

The Supras, 300z, RX7...those were icons. I'd even go with the s2000 as an icon.

The NSX was overpriced and dare I say, slow. I've tested an NSX (later generation w/the fixed lights). It cost 90k. It is not as good as a Viper. IMO, its not even on par with a C6. I'll readily admit I use horsepower to make up for my lack of talent, but I'd wager the average driver would derive far more satisfaction from owning a Viper than an NSX.

Yes. I already own a Subaru XT6, and the NSX is just like an upgraded XT6.

I might get one in slightly worse condition though.

Never understood why these held their value so well.

For $30K I can get a C6 or a 90's Viper.

Does a 20yr old NSX turn that many heads that you would be willing to sacrifice the driving experience you get from a C6?

I love the NSX. If I had the money to spare, I'd definitely interested in one. They're expensive to maintain though.. my "uncle" has his own shop and specializes in them.

If I wanted to buy a 20 year old Japanese car, I'd buy a Mazda RX-7 and drop a LS7 in it.

Why would anyone buy a 20 year old underpowered Japanese car that is going to continue to depreciate for $30K? At some point you won't be able to repair these things as there will be no parts available and these cars are from the "plastic era" so at some point the interior will be unserviceable altogether.

Do it!!!

The driving experience in these things are suppose to be sublime. Just about every review glowed about its handling and I don't ever recall anyone ever saying anything bad about the handling. Can't say the same for a viper, mustang, corvette, rx7, supra, 300z, 3000gt....

i guess cause of the post immediately after yours. I've sure never driven one, though. I like to at least hope it retains value over real merit and not just fanboism. I would want more power spending that on a 20 year old car but still it is low 5's for 0-60 and surely does handle nicely.

I would really want to get money off to get that disc player replaced, though

Older NSXes have pretty much stopped depreciating and holding very steady. I would say the good ones have even gone up in value in recent years. Whatever depreciation that's left are very minor. It's now the maintenance and upkeep that will cost you real money. My cousin bought a '91 in early '94 for ~$37. $7k depreciation in 16 years? Sign me up.

I was in high school when this car was introduced. It was my dream car in college. I didn't grow up in an era of American Muscle. I could care less about now classic Shelby Mustangs, GTOs, etc of the '60s. I can't relate to that time period. I can however relate to the NSX, 300z, Supra, RX-7, GT-R, 348, 355, Z06, etc. These are the cars my "playstation" generation will remember and think back fondly of.
