Would You buy LCD of IIYAMA without seeing it?

hi all

I'm talking a bout this 15" LCD from the home of IIYAMA - E380S

you can find his info here http://www.iiyama.co.uk (very impressive flash)

it's native is 768X1024, candela 380 and contrast 1:450

I never saw this screen in reality,but I'm thinking of purchasing it ,cause it's high quality company,high specs,low price(I wonder why)and again the main criteria "IIYAMA"

the only screens I saw were LG,SAMSUNG,MAG,BENQ in the local mal.they were ok but still...

I've heard the same that they are VERY good moniters as well and they don't use Mylar coating like the rest LCDs that we have. Anyone have any comments on this?

This is only my opinion, but till you have seen the display with your own eyes, i wouldn't buy it.
Or at least make sure they have a good return policy.

I don't know enough about their LCD's, but their CRT's were top notch. I would assume/hope that the same quality would transfer over to their CRT's.

BUT, I would research the product more and make sure they have a good return policy just to be safe.

Just curious, if you live in Alabama, where are you finding a store domestically to purchase this? Or are you going to pay for S&H from the UK?

I've heard nothing but good things about the Lcd's, I had a crt in the past that was excellent. On iiyama's site, you can find "where to buy", I believe CDW carries some, as well as other online retailers.
