I was at a wild life game dinner and had deer, turkey, walleye, elk and bear. The bear was the best because who ever prepared it know what he/she was doing, it was best I ever had. So if you can cook me a horse like I had bear I'd eat it all day long.

I have and i would. My mother's side of the family are ranchers, its hard to tell the difference between beef and horse jerky.

I heard it's pretty popular in scandanvian countries.

I'd try it -- the only things that really make me queesy are meat/organs from above the neck (tongue, brain) and organs involved in reproduction/expulsion of waste (testicles, intestines)

Also, it ridiculous we can't eat horse. All the animals that need to be put down today are sent to mexico for processing where they get to eat it. Instead of that meat staying here and feeding people, it's going to mexico for pennies on the dollar. This was a big deal to thoroughbred and saddlebred farms, they spent all this money on the animal and have nothing to show for it...they can't even eat him.

Sure, if I didn't like the horse very much, or didn't know his family. And had to for some reason.

I'm averse to eating smart, social animals, like dogs and horses. Eating pigs seems wrong too; although I don't know any pigs very well personally I hear they're clever.

Dumb ones I'm okay with.

I guess I just anthropomorphize too much. But at least chicken is reasonably healthy.
