Would you eat sour cream past its best before date?

I've eaten Yogurts 3 months past the expiration date. I'm still fine. Mostly.

Rule of recently expired food, if passing sniff test : scrape off the top for taste, rest is fine.

Sour cream lasts a very long time past it's best buy date. I just give it the sniff test.

No diarrhea & no death for me.

I did throw it out after using it, b/c it basically had the consistency of white-out.
