Would you go on "Beauty and the Geek"

Face it, whether you're in denial or not, everyone that posts on this forum is a geek. I'm also willing to assume that at least half of the guys here don't do particularly well with the ladies.

So, assuming you are a geek and no good with girls, would you go on that reality show "Beauty and the Geek" (I think it's on CW and VH1) for the chance to hang out with some hot girls and maybe get some?


I'm thinking I probably wouldn't, but mostly because I hate the sound of my own voice.

I wouldn't make the show. I'm a geek in that I know a lot and am interested in computers, math and science, but I do about average with the ladies. Also, I didn't get perfect SATs and I'm not a chess grandmaster or Rubik's Cube champion. The producers wouldn't want me on the show. I'd probably be on it if I had the chance though.

That show is a bit over the top - the geeks are the scrawniest, shyest, most socially retarded people I have ever seen and they would make the likes of WayneTek and Bennylong look like players. And the women are gorgeous, with huge breasts, but they are all dumber than a pile of rocks. I almost think some of that is staged.

no, i don't doubt there are people like that. but yes, purposely picked those people to get maximum effect. maybe i'll actually watch the show to see what the fuss is about

I definitely would, and i would dominate all competitions. Im introverted, hence the ATOT time, but i do ok socially with women. However, after seeing the geek interviews i would really have to lie and "fake it up" to get on. The first competition with lotion/number/use cell, piece of cake. I LOLed at most of those guys. I love that show, extremes are funny--admit it.

I'd like to apply, and see what manner of coaching I'd be given, and what kind of geek I'd be cast as.

I also know I'd do poorly in their fashion questions, quite possibly because I regard fashion as a frivolous waste of money, akin to animals adorning themselves with fake plumage and various other items so as to fool potential mates into thinking that they're more attractive. As such, I never saw any compelling reason to learn brand names or styles.
