Let's see how the FDA classifies this device...

"(a)Identification. A powered heating pad is an electrical device intended for medical purposes that provides dry heat therapy for body surfaces. It is capable of maintaining an elevated temperature during use.
(b)Classification. Class II (special controls). The device is exempt from the premarket notification procedures in subpart E part 807 of this chapter subject to 890.9."

hmmm, interesting, nothing to support the websites claims of
"This reduces swelling, increases blood flow and has been shown to destroy cancer and viral cells without harming surrounding healthy cells. It penetrates 6-8 inches into the innermost recesses of the body, stimulating healing and regeneration of nerves and muscle tissue layers"

Also, wouldn't increased blood flow stimulate cancer growth.

Ah, I remember seeing that on Penn & Teller: Bullshit!. It's been around since at least 2008. The lady hocking it couldn't explain how it worked. It's just a very expensive heating pad.

At $2500, the part penetrating 6-8 inches into the innermost recesses of my body had better be something more interesting than "nature's invisible light."
