Highly unlikely but if it happens ........ what can you do............ when it's your time to go........ it's your time to go.

Now if you knew someone was going to nuke us.......... I would do as much as I possibly could to get my family to safety.

Cheers,
Aquaman

If I were to die right now, it would be...unfortunate. I'm not ready to go yet. But, all in all, I'd be able to accept it, just with a certain ineffable sadness. There was so much left to experience, so many things to learn, so many places to go, people to meet...I'm one of those people who could probably stand the downsides of immortality.

Yes, I would mind. Staying alive is very important to me. In fact, there are very few things I would not do in order to stay alive.

Yes; I could tell by the way you use your walk that you're a woman's man, no time to talk.

Everybody has some last words they'd like to say to their love ones before they depart. What I wonder is why don't people plan for their passing away and see if the other side truly does exist, in terms of ways to communicate once they've past away. Sure tell tale signs or communications both agreed on prior. A code word so to speak.

Like say after I die, within two days if you hear a voice saying "knock knock, who's there?" you'll know it's me. Or a movement of an object, or whatever.

But to answer the OP question, if I were to die today I would feel content knowing I've met the girl of my life and having had the opportunity to spend time with her up to this point. My only regrets would have been not having known her earlier and not being able to grow old and share life and happiness til the very end.

I recently hit it off with this really cute little asian, so I'd kind of like a chance to ride things out. If I was single and you asked me during finals though... my response might be different.

I would not mind dying in the sense that i am fearful of it, however, i would mind it because there is so much that i have not been able to do yet that i would not want my life cut short.

They mentioned the N. Korea stuff on the news again this morning and I was just wondering, are we going to go back to like it was in the 50s with bomb shelters and all that garbage?

I'd prefer not to die right now but I don't have much going for me anyway, so i guess it wouldn't matter that much if i got nuked tomorrow.

I have been married to a wonderful woman for 19 years, have a great career as a firefighter/paramedic, and am raising 2 great boys. If I were assured that my boys were taken care of (I am sure that they would be ), I have no problems with death. I know that Jesus is the son of the living God and I am comfortable in my Christianity.

Having said that, I would prefer to stick around awhile and see my boys grow up and my wife get old......

A few years ago I wouldn't have cared as much...I feel like I've had a great life, but having just got married, I would hate to be separated from my wife. It's a weird feeling to have.

My wife and I are just about to have our first child. No way.

Now, if there were no consequences and if it were completely painless, why not?

I am prepared to be taken up at any time. Not my will but thine be done so to speak. However, I would mind in the sense that I have all of eternity to experience the afterlife, so I would like to hold onto my mortal coil as long as possible to experience mortal life. Then again why try and hold onto such an infintely small dash of time?

Most certainly would. I'd like to see my grandchildren grow first before I kick the bucket

Give it a few weeks. I want to watch the Detroit Tigers win the World Series. Then they can go ahead and press the button.

To fear death is to fear living. I would rather die fighting to live but being located 10 miles
from the Ports of L.A./ Long Beach...Well it is a target rich area.

NK is not a direct threat. They will sell what the know or can do to terrorists...That is the issue, imho.

Note: I have seen pictars of you OP and you are not a hot chic but from what I know of you...
You are a highly desireable, for real woman. I like you and there is nothing you can do about it

When I was in the Philippines over the summer, there was a volcano that was about to erupt less than 40 miles from where I was staying. It was really cool, because there was nothing we could do to escape it if it were to erupt, and we could see the lava flowing down the sides of it. But the thought that kept on coming in was, "It's always a good day to meet Jesus." Not everyone here accepts salvation through Jesus, the gospel, that Jesus is the Son of God, and that Jesus is God. But it was really cool to be able to experience that feeling of, "for to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." - Philippians 1:21

I wouldn't mind it at all. I love it, but the thing that gets me is that there are a lot of people now who haven't had the opportunity to hear the gospel or feel God's love, so now while I'm here, I want to show as many people as are willing, the love of Him, so that they may love.
