Would you order an OEM chip?

Have you ordered from Accubyte.com before? If so how was the service? They seem to have really good prices.

Is there a place you prefer to order from that will match the competition (or comes close) that has good service?

OEM chips are fine I have a P3 600e that is doing 900Mhz and is very happy doing so.

Yeah, I've heard bad things about Accubyte. I prefer Newegg and Mwave.

I bought a PIII-700 OEM from Accubyte a few months ago. It took them a week to ship and another week to arrive at my house. Customer service did not speak a derivitave of English that was recognizable to me so a status update was difficult.

BTW, the chip runs great @933mhz - 1.75v. It will not even post any higher than that - but that's OK with me.

Shop there at your own risk. I suspect that if I had a problem, I would have been SOL.

Yeah, accubyte is a HORRIBLE company when it comes to customer service. My friend ordered some ram, and it literally took like 3-4 weeks for it to come. IMHO, the companies you should look to are the following in descending order, 1. Newegg, 2. Mwave, 3. Allstarshop.
Allstarshop used to be my favorite, but newegg gives free shipping, and usually the lowest prices on items.
