Have any adult young daughters?I would sell my kid for $6.5 million.
Why wouldn't they be 'walking around free as a bird', since they haven't been convicted of anything?
Speaking of which, do rich kids ever get degrees in something useful? Before I went to JR College I've heard all kinds of stories of people getting degrees in "basket weaving".Paying bribes to get in is one thing, but how worthless are degrees if they are able to survive four years worth of classes? These kids aren't going to be doctors or engineers thankfully.
Maybe this is because I from a working class background, but If I did get fithly rich, I would make sure my kids and grandkids learn very useful skills. That way in case they lose everything, they can still support themselves in some way. They get degrees in Communications or Sociology, which in some sense, does makes sense. "basket weaving" is just used as a derogatory term.
With $6.5 million I wouldn't even need to go to college. I am confident I can live on that the rest of my life and comfortably too.
Would you pay less taxes on the interest then you will on earned income?Even at a super conservative 3%, that's $195k a year forever. Yah, I'd retire.
