As a certified smart, id rather be handsome. People dont like it when you point out how dumb they are, but when you are handsome everyone will just up n give you stuff.

I selected smart. In doing so, I'd like to point out a pitfall. Smart does not guarantee that you are interesting.I think being average smart and average handsome but top 1% interesting is far better. As someone who is average smart and below average physically, I can vouch that this attribute is far more important. You do not want to invite me to a party. Look at KMFDJ and NuclearNed for example. They could be dumb as a doorknob and be scarred but they will likely always have people around them, if you know what I mean.

Being in the top 1% of smartness isn't gonna buy you anything. Maybe being in the 0.1% top has some value. But even that I doubt. BTW an iq of 135 will put you in the top 1%. An iq of 147 will put you in the top 0.1%.

I rather be in the 1% of handsome. That's gonna get you the attention of the opposite sex. That's a lot more valuable than any smartypants remarks you can make.

True...with money you could hire smart people and looks wouldn't matter when it came to relationships because your obscene wealth would make you shallow enough to pay for your relationships. It'd be a sweet deal.

I will say that having good looks gives you a certain self esteem that money can't give you. I'm not the most attractive man, but I'm doing alright. I always thought I had a decent balance of looks and smarts. I'm above average when it comes to intelligence, but I've never leveraged it to make as much income as I want. Instead, I've been ok with mediocrity because others around me have more seniority. I let my wife make the real money in the household and I have a flexible professional 8-4:30 job with over 7 weeks of leave a year....she hates me.

Being smart won't make you rich.
Just like working hard won't make you rich.

Having rich parents makes you rich.
And luck. You need a lot of luck, if you wanna get rich.
Especially if you don't have rich parents.
Those 2 factors are the biggest factors for success, the rest is negligible.

Well, I fit into that smart rather than handsome bucket and am happy to stay where I am.

Handsomeness is more of a subjective judgement than smarts, and (like beauty) it fades much faster with age.
