Would you vote for a 2020 ticket with the Rock and Tom Hanks?

If it was between them and Trump... actually, yes. They have exponentially more intelligence, competence and integrity than Trump will ever have.

Now for 2024, I'd want to vote in actual politicians with experience!

Yeah I agree with this. If my choice is Johnson/Hanks vs Trump/Pence, I've voting the former 100000xs over.

I'd prefer people with actual experience on the issues instead of actors, but having said that, even a pair of actors like these guys are an infinitely better choice than a mentally ill senile racist and a holy roller nutjob, both hopelessly corrupt.

We need leaders who believe in and act accordingly with American values, not corporate or religious priorities. Above room temperature IQs would be nice as well.

I'm sure there's someone that I would vote for Trump over but at the moment I'm unable to think of it.

Trump is without a doubt the most incompetent president we've ever had, (at least in the modern era) just from a 'skills necessary to execute the office' standpoint. He also appears to be mentally and emotionally unstable and potentially showing signs of dementia. Why would anyone want someone like that in office.

Trump is working harder than Obama ever dreamed of working. Trump actually cares for this country and wants the best. If you would drop your feelings of hate just because Clinton failed and actually look at what Trump is doing, you would see it too. The problem is you let the media tell you what to say and think, then try to think it is the right that is doing the same. The problem is Trump is not the left or right and the establishment hates him for it. I honestly believe he can get a lot accomplished, if all the naysayers would get off his back and see that he is honestly trying to make us great again.

Going on the assumption this isn't a parody post, haha.

He sure spends a lot of time golfing for someone who is working harder than Obama ever dreamed of working, wouldn't you say? Regardless if that were true if anything that reinforces my point that he's incompetent as if he's working so much harder than Obama why had Obama accomplished so much more by this point than he has?

You might want to take a step back and think about this for a minute. Maybe the reason why Trump gets bad media coverage is because he's a pathological liar who is bad at his job as well as nakedly corrupt. It's not too late to admit you made a mistake and voted for a shitty president.

The real question is... would you vote Johnson/Hanks over a seasoned Republican, but he's just as slimy as the rest of them (i.e. McConnell).

I would have voted for a dog turd running against Hillary. There was no way we could sustain the record spending of Obama and his divisive actions to our country.

Yet here we are with Trump trying to cut taxes by trillions without paying for it. If you thought our previous fiscal situation was unsustainable how does Trump's plan do anything but make it more unsustainable?

Also, you realize that polls consistently show America is more divided under Trump than under Obama, right? If you thought we couldn't sustain Obama's divisiveness then why do you support someone who has been even more divisive?

When you have an intelligent president, it makes all the uneducated white people feel bad about themselves.

Almost all of which was caused by 1) Bush unfunded Tax Cuts, 2) Bush passed unfunded Medicare Part D, and 3) Bush unnecessary wars and subsequent fall out.

Now to fix it we are going to get 1) Trump unfunded Tax Cuts, 2) Trump unnecessary military build-up and probable wars, 3) Massive cuts to social and savings programs that will in the long term increase burden on the government.

At this point in time, if that's the last, best and final offer to get rid of Trump and his Raiders of the Lost Treasury, then yeah, sure, why not?

Facts have no bearing on someone who calls Obama divisive in the first place.

Dwayne Johnson plays D&D, which means he can at least grasp the concept of risk vs reward, and action & consequence. Tom Hanks made me cry over a volleyball. So yeah, I'm fine with those two over Trump tbh.
