I get called in the middle of the night when I'm not on call about once every month or so. I does not matter how hot the coworker is. I get mad and she gets mad when people call me for frivolous crap that anybody on my team could fix. However, half of the calls are from somebody on my team who is stuck and doesn't know what to do ... so usually we do not get mad, just tired/frustrated.

Likewise. I'm a (married) 31 y/o going to school with 18-22 y/o kids. There are SO MANY ISSUES that I have to deal with. I find genuinely useful people at school (like LSAT tutors, studdy buddys, etc) and I either have to chose to a) fight about it b) forget to mention it or c) decline whatever is being offered.

I've gotten to the point that I have to really need help with whatever for any other person to gain even slight access. I was having a hard time prepping for a test and finally had to break down and ask someone that wasn't readily approved. But hey, I do what I want. I guess for me, it's just making sure that I pick my battles carefully and make it worthwhile.
