thats because the dress shirt you are referring to is a french cuffed shirt, those tend to be a bit more expensive

Let me get this right. You work at a dry cleaners right? And a customer comes in and gives you a shirt expecting it to get dry cleaned. Instead, you cheated and just washed it by hand? Correct me if I understood incorrectly.

I think if I worked at a dry cleaners and someone brought in a dish rag and paid me to get it dry cleaned, I'd dry clean it. I wouldn't try to get away with not dry cleaning it.

Nobody actually pays full price, do they? You window shop during the regular season and then buy what you like at the factory outlet or when it goes on clearance!

People also drop off regular laundy to be washed normally at the dry cleaner, I believe.

I'm so glad I know my dry cleaners so I don't have to worry about idiots like you. Its not just the cost of the shirt, but my god damn time of having to replace it.

EDIT: Of course, this is of course if he handed it off to be dry cleaned. If he just dropped it off to be laundered, then that mofo shouldn't have gotten any money.
