If you add up the prices, they are charging about 4.2k for the server without any of the audio equipment

I find that pricing to be right in line. As mentioned if you are into high end audio recording, looks about right... Ever payed for studio time? Well, it's expensive... Nothing strange here...

Studio time. LMAO. Suckers who think they can play a tune spending their last dime on a one in a million shot to be some drug addict rock star who can't even go out in public without being bothered and who's broke at age 55. Good idea.

But is it well worth th price when they are charge about 100% more for the audio equipment then they are selling it seperately. If I was them I wouldn't link the parts like that, because at most the only add about $5,000. I sure in hell hope that case is worth it.

Edit: Ignore what I said. I missed the quantity 6 on the one rack. That right there is like 10K.

Yes, you're right. No one should ever attempt a career in music. As a matter of fact the world would be a much better place w/out music and the bums that create it. Dreams are for pussies.

Umm, you did notice they were including the $1775 item 6 TIMES.... Puts the seperate cost of the system at 4.1k (minus the audio equipment) and some change as already mentioned above... Just FYI...

And as far as this comment is concerned, I fear to even respond as it is completely small minded, but in any case: You also realize that studio recording is not only used for the recording of MUSIC... I have various friends that are in the professional recording of voice acting and commercials. They will easily tell you buying the equipment yourself and producing the audio will be a very wise long term investment. In any case, not EVERYONE produces "music" to make money and be a millionaire... A lot of musicians never aim for making it big and are quite content at the artistry of the music and not so much the glory of the lights... Good lord are you short sighted to miss the purpose of good talent and hard work... Some people really do work for a living and god bless em if they can even work hard at something they love doing...

/end lesson

How about the out of place "p4 1.9ghz w/ an extra 60GB HD" GIF? Obviously thier webmaster is a lazy incompetent bastard. How about someone tell me a realistic use for 48 DAC channels and 48 ADC channels? Why not include Nuendo 3.2? The Nuendo Audiolink 96 Digiset can be had for half the price the say it's worth, not to mention its been discontinued. "As of July 1, 2004 RME has assumed all warranty service for this product. Steinberg is no longer distributing the RME hardware branded under the Audiolink name. Any warranty claims will be handled by the RME US distributor - Synthax, 330 259 0308."
