Actually, G90 is slated for November, right? It came straight from nVidia itself - their new product release cycle involves launching new cards in November. It'll be a sort of refresh, like the GeForce 7 was to the GeForce 6. Not that that's a bad thing, as the GeForce 7 was twice as fast as the GeForce 6...

Q4 2007 is the most likely candidate, as 1 year seems to match with Nvidia's philosophies currently.

That doesn't preclude the possibility of a mid range performer this quarter though, hopefully that wonderous G92. :thumbsup:

I'll presume you are talking about G92, which comes at Q4/2007.
According Michael Hara this will be 1 teraflops beast (8800GTS 345.6gigaflops, 8800GTX 518gigaflops, 8800ultra 576gigaflops (HD2900XT 475gigaflops))

Bought the EVGA 8800 ultra, i didnt want any problems and i think i can over clock it better than what msi has it for.

I think buying a 8800 ultra isnt a dumb idea at this point, i got mine for 629 -30 dollar rebate. My reasoning is because When the G90's do come out, Id like to skip the series altogether and by then 8800 ultras new or used will be alot cheaper, Ill prob snatch one up then and run my system sli, which should last me a good while. Should be able to skip out on the G90 entirely
Same prob goes for the GTX but there almost the same price now.
