That's why it sucks to be an early adopter of Vista......it is going to take awhile for things to get where XP is today. I personally am waiting at least a year before upgrading to Vista, even though my system can more than handle it.

Given the current state of G80 XP drivers I'm not sure why you were expecting Vista to be any better.

Isn't 101.41 beta?
I'm having no problems with 100.65 in Home premium 64 bit. albeit the performance is still not quite there with XP, close though

So then CaiNaM, what's the problem with 101.41 that you've got or is there no point in your post?

Yup, both 101.41 & 100.65 are Beta drivers. I myself am not having problems with 101.41 drivers but I guess the anti nV driver parade is still in full swing with some people.

Yep beta,I'm staying with the latest official ones,do remember XP has had almost 7 years of driver updates, so don't expect Vista to be right up there after only 6 weeks, however Nvidia has promised improvements and regular updates for Vista.
I'll say Vista is in a much better state then XP ever was when it was only 6 weeks old.

People should realize, once you install something that says "BETA", you revoke your right to complain.

@Aberforth, if you check on the nVidia site it will tell you that 100.65 is a Beta driver.

To be fair, the XP drivers are in a pretty sorry state of affairs as well. There's no six week excuse for that one. I'm sure nvidia will get their drivers worked out eventually, but since they don't even seem to be working on the XP drivers I'm not exactly excited about how they're handling things.
