same here....according to the article, some of the cops that first responded had to go on paid leave because they were so distraught.

I've worked 2 bad so far since beginning my career. The first one was an auto accident where a van full of 14 people came off a service road onto the interstate right in front of an 18 wheeler. When I got there, the van was fully involved in fire and I could hear screaming from the kids that were inside. It was very terrible. The second was a woman who shot her 3 kids, her husband, and then herself. The husband lived. She shot him in the back as he was running away. She had already killed the kids. Both were terrible. I really feel for these guys in blue. I know exactly what they are going through.

I dont know if I could deal with what you have to deal with on a daily basis, especially if I was armed. If I were one of the cops that responded to this I would have just shot the guy.

I just think of Brad Pitt unloading into Kevin Spacey in Se7en. I wouldn't have the tolerance to watch someone like that walk away.
