Anyone here playing the Dogecoin game?

It's pretty much vegas gambling I presume, but I figure there are ways to strategize it.

E.g. What do you think will happen if/when Elon Musk mentions Dogecoin on his SNL this Saturday?
I got in on it with a couple hundred while it was in the .3 range. Trading around .55 today so not bad. Seeing potential in the $1.00 range, but yeah- if feels like a ponzi coin at this point.

OK, the markets are going like SCARY high in the last two days. Haven't seen anything like this. Bitcoin is just laying there all "blah" and all the alt coins are going through the roof. Usually a 30% P/L is high, and it jumped to these levels over the weekend:

I think dogecoin is a perfect reflection of why crytocurrency is overall a joke.

Yet I still see folks telling me about how Dogecoin will fall and we should sell it and buy Bitcoin and Etherium.

Anyhow, yesterday tossed in some fun money and bought about $500 in dogecoin. Might hang on and forget about it. Might sell it Saturday after Elon Musk yells it on SNL. I haven't decided yet heh.

Doge bounced off of 69 cents today lol. I suspect 69 is a very magical number in Dogeland.
NOICE!

It was .35 on Sunday, so $$$$ if you bought. Coin scrapers are all over Twitter urging people not to sell at $1 so they can attract new buyers. We'll see how that goes

I'm seriously considering selling my eth at this point. I don't have a ton but getting a little pay day could be nice.

I know. Tempted too, but there's no sign of it stopping- especially ETC. Thinking there will be a selloff at 100.

I met a genuine Bitcoin millionaire yesterday. I cant give out too much detail since I dont want this to come up in a search engine, but he was paid in Bitcoins for contracting work as a side hustle when BC was going for about $50 each.

He told me in the beginning it wasnt easy after putting in 8 hours on the job and taking care of family duties and then spending the evenings working on this project.

In the end he collected hundreds of BC for his work. Frustrated he had no place to spend BC other than on esoteric things, he regretted taking BC for payment at one point. And yes, he did buy pizza with it "back in the day".

He sold some, investing in a few nice homes, a stable of nice cars and lots of good times traveling all over the world with his wife, with millions left over generating monthly income.

What allowed him to hold them for so long was his day job paid well and he really enjoyed it.

I told him my Mt. Gox story about trying to buy 2 BC for $200 just for fun....then Mt. Gox was hacked and went Chapter 11 and I was relieved I was not able to deposit funds in time. I regret not continuing to pursue it.

I had bitcoin at Mt. Gox... It was only 1 or 2 that a friend showed me how to play online poker with. I think it was between 200-300 at the time.

Doge is dropping fast after Elon called it a hustle on SNL. They lied. The 21 year old financial gurus on YouTube said I'd be a millionaire by now. I even bought their $2,000 course on Doge.

Litecoin now making a run for all-time highs. It only has about $40 to go ($380 currently, old ATH $420). If ends up going parabolic too and hitting something stupid like $800-$1000 that might be my cue to exit. And then panic buy back in after I watch my fiat getting worth less every second.

I'm starting to think crypto might reach some absurd prices way beyond what I thought was even way beyond possible this super cycle. If we are getting alts getting this high while Bitcoin consolidates at $55K and then makes a push for $80-$100K, then alts will too have yet another round of insanity.

I just sold a little bit of my Ethereum. It feels like it's gone up too far and too fast, and is probably due for a correction. Besides, it's more than 50% of my crypto portfolio now because the price of Bitcoin hasn't done shit lately.

Gemini is now offering dogecoin savings accounts between 1.26% and 7.75% APY. Will that make up for the 5 billion new doge being mined every year?

Also, there is a new joke shit coin that is being called a dogecoin killer: the Shiba Inu coin (SHIB). Its market cap has gone from $26M to to $13.1B in four days....

ETH crashed from 4200 to 3500 in a matter of minutes. It (along with other crypto) rebounded a lot in the past hour but given how quick it was to drop I question how much leverage there is in the market right now.

It certainly didn't take much to trigger massive selling.

I still can't believe that people are still paying money for Dogecoin.

This dude (with beard) who is called Dode the Pro put his entire life savings ($180k) into dodge back in Janurary. On Saturday when Dodge hit the all time high he made over $3.8 millions. He lost a lot since, and is only worth about $1.8 million. He sdaid that he's not pulling out until Dodge makes him $10 millionm. I give him a TON of credit for hanging on.
