I created a new character and haven't had any trouble. I'm debating whether or not to take up the quest that caused my comp to crash. Because of this, I'm guessing it's a bug in the game, unless there some game element (visual effec, sound or something) in Brill/surrounding areas that isn't in the first city.

Did you delete the temp files?

I think it's the WTF folder. Search around the offical forums to look for the exact place. Personally, if it's just one character doing it, I think you got a corrupt file in that character's temp folder.

thanks, you fixed it.

Glad to hear it's solved. I'd still recommend you try out the 43.45 or 44.03 detonator drivers, you'll get much better performance.

Yep, I'm using them but it actually isn't quite solved. Now, whenever I complete a quest it crashes and I have to delete the WTF cache files again. Is this a bug or something wrong with my hardware?

Well since deleting the WTF files gets you running a little while it appears those files are getting corrupted for some reason.
Here are a few things you can try:

1. Stop overclocking
2. Run memtest86 and see if you get any errors
3. Relax your memory timings
4. run chkdsk /R on the game drive to verify there are no bad sectors
5. Run an MD5 checksum on your game files to verify the files are not corrupt: see http://forums.worldofwarcraft....=1&tmp=1#post18212
though as indicated in the post this is not 100% accurate.

1. I'm not overclocking (sorry, My Rig is outdated)
2. I'll do that
3. Memory timings are default, not tight at all.
4. I'll do that.
5. I'll try that as well.

Thanks for the help.
