Ok, before everyone flames me at once: Yes, it varies by your driving background, history, state you live, and your body odor =). But I was so surprised someone is able to beat my existing insurance (Metropolitan) that I have to share it with you all. I've tried about 10 other places and none was able to give the price Esurance.com did. The weird thing is, I used to be with them before until I got a lower price elsewhere. I came across them via my spam and I thought I try them again. Guess what, they beat my exisiting insurance which is already pretty damn low for our background situation. Thanks to my wife (new driver) my insurance is not as cheap as it could be. And yea, I've tried AMEX 15% deal but thanks to my wife, you won't sell it to us. Thanks again, Honey.

Anyway, I feel it's the least painful sites to get a quote of all the major sites. Just another source you guys can try out, you just never know.

It was able to get 100K/300k property/liability, $250 deduct, rental, uninsured motorist for $1507 full year premium. It may be higher for some but since my wife is a new drive that's pretty damn good. My other lowest quote is for $1900!

love hear about other cheap places for this!

Hmm - I put in my info to compare my GEICO plan - and right now I pay $1.2k/yr w/GEICO -- comparable plan with esurance would cost $1,6+k/yr. So I guess it depends...

Geico and Progressive gave me among highest quotes ever. I guess someone has to pay for all their spams on TV. I love the way they hook you up with 3 other competitiors' prices. Man, they're making like they are doing me a favor. It's like they're not getting commission on it or something. funny.

Yikes. I pay $400 every six months ($800 a year). Slow down and stop hitting people.

After filling out the quote form, I got a message informing me they would not cover me but that their partner, Geico Direct, would. I wonder if this company is an extension of Geico. As to why they didnt cover me, I dunno. I must have filled out something wrong. Im a good driver =)

It's not bad but mine is still cheaper. 387 vs 399/6 months. I have full coverage 100/300, etc.

Yeah, young drivers get the shaft. They do stupid stuff. I know, I did when I was young. Just last week I was rear ended by some young kid and when both of us were pulling off the road to exchange licenses the SOB cut across two lanes in front of traffic and jumped on the freeway. Little a$$hole.

My rates dropped by 50% when I turned 25, so for those of you that are only 18, the bad news is it's 7 years until a significant drop is seen.

$1700 6 month policy?

I swear, Car Insurance companies fleece the piss out of male drivers under the age of 25. I have a perfect driving record yet I get grouped with all the retarded male drivers out there. F You insurance!

I'm a single 22 year old male!! Not bad at all

It has a lot to do with location, I pay 145/month for full coverage on a 2000 jeep wrangler, I'm 28, no tickets and no accidents and that is still cheaper than most other places quoted me.

My rates on that site were actually higher. I only pay 1650 for 2 cars fully insured per year. The estimate they gave me was 1147 for 6 months. Not so hot for me!

They won't insure me. Most insurance companies won't tounch me with a 10ft pole because of my DWAI. If anyone knows of any decent insurance companies that will cover someone with 1 DWAI please let me know!
thanks!

Holy cow, $950+ for 6-months for me.. 23 y/o single (although not for long) male, which makes it $1900/year :Q

Maybe it's Austin or something, but man...that sucks. I don't have any accidents, and maybe one speeding ticket on my record for 7 years (When do these get reset?), and I believe I'm a good and courteous driver..

Allstate's quoted me at close to $1000/year, so that's much better.

Optical, I already paid for my one year. Since I only bought basic + uninsure motorist, it was pretty cheap. Reimbursement take too long.

USAA bumped my premiums from $115/month to $200/month when I graduated from college (with a 3.97!) and moved. I'm 21 and have one accident in my history. I've been searching for lower rates for about six months. Esurance quoted me $750/6 months with good student discount or $895/6 month w/o good student discount. If USAA won't try to match, then I may switch!
