I just woke up, I was more tired than I thought.
I'll be playing with lower multi's this evening, but I don't think I will get to far.
My ram will be holding me back.
I will give her a go though. I'll raise the CAS latency to 3 and see if the Corsair XMS memory has any more leg room. the ram spd is set to 2,3,2,6 PC3200.
I'm hoping (crossing fingers) that the ATI X800XT card will be in by the end of the month.
Right now game benchmarks are virtually no different than my P4 system. My 9800 Pro is the bottleneck.
However the best way to describe the way the system feels is "smooth".
Things are just silky smooth.
On a wierd note, I've loaded Call of Duty and my pings are better. I'm not sure why the FX would have any effect on ping, but it is noticeable. Servers are coming up at 30 to 35 ms as compared to 40 to 45 on the Intel board. <<<< this make me VERY happy
