Wow... I havent been here in forever :)

So i come to check this place out again after... maybe 3 years? Its become larger... I didnt recognize a single name of posters....

Maybe im getting ahead of myself.

I originally came here about 8 years ago, maybe 9. Your normal fat geeky high school kid. This place was very nice for a kid with very few friends. Stayed for a long time chatting with nowhereman, red dawn, hippy, nowheremom and denilfloss(that was a surprise), and quite a few others. Flash forward to 19-20, and I managed to lose about 80 lbs(down to 155 from well over 200), developed a social life with people like me, and go through school So today i was looking aroudn at news sites(still a junky) and i see a story that reminds me of this place. I had to come back and say hi One of those random impulses to see your old friends from school, to see where you formed some of your opinions and critical thinking skills, to see some of the people you looked up to.

Since were on the subject of anti-climactic returns, I'd like to announce my return as well. Wow, I think it's been at least 8... no, maybe 9 hours since I was here last. Lots of new faces; there's IT guy, AZN guy, blindfold, briefcase... I could go on and on... ahhh... and still some old familar faces like cool guy, frosty.... <sigh>, just like old times...I bet halik is still asking whether anyone has driven a range rover still!

Well, anyhow. Good to see all you people I never knew from Adam again!

I remember someone suggested carpooling down I-5 and 'storming the walls of Buy.com...' and getting a big laugh out of it...

I picture the Capitol One commercials (whats in YOUR wallet!!!) where the vikings are running rampant through the neighborhood... but instead of vikings I picture pudgy, pimple ridden geeks...

Other than GUTB now works for AMD and FKloster finally gave up on RDRAM, not much has changed.... and please don't ask Modus (I think that was his name..) if Hardware modems are still better than software modems...

/LOL, there are still members there that hate me for bashing them over trying to scam Buy.Com for a pricing error on a monitor more than 8 years ago. We labled them the Wounded Monitor Children and harrased the living shit out of them for it. The funny thing is they won a class action suit over it and I actually received $50 in the mail from Buy.Com because I ordered one/
