Edit: And the following quote "'We have a homicide that resulted from a circumstance where somebody picked a fight with an individual who obviously exploded,' Reddington said."

I.e. Self defense, right?

But read what Elfenix wrote.

He returned to the scene to purposely cause trouble, meaning this was completely voluntary and not out of self defense.

In order to argue self defense, you'd have to show that you reasonably believed yourself (or another person) to be in imminent danger. It depends from state to state, but I don't think you could reasonably argue that you were afraid for your life, then left the scene (which means you are no longer in danger), and then return to 'defend yourself'.

Especially since they found the guy covered in blood shot through the head, with no weapon and holding his infant daughter. What was he "defending" himself against? Was he going to throw the baby at him? He also had to return to the scene to shoot the guy, which totally blows any possible self defense claims.

Fry his ass.

It's cases like this that I could never be a defense lawyer.

Judge: Does the Defense have anything they'd like to say?
Me: Yes your honor, my client is a grade A piece of sh!t. I hope the Jury decides to fry his ass. Later. I'm out of here. I'll be at the bar across the street doing tequilla shots if anyone needs me.

----------

I just hope he doesn't get off on any lame insanity claims.

Hopefully, road rage is not a recognized form of the insanity defense.

The insanity defense is bullsh|t. I don't care if you're insane, if you killed some one you should still go to jail.

That is sick. :|

Ban him

(that means "ban him" in the sense of "push a button which supplies high voltage electricity to his ass)

I don't get what happened. It says he got shot while in the car. But it also says that he got shot as he got out of the car carrying his baby?

I read what he wrote and I agree. I don't think it's self defense and I think the guy's a piece of scum. However, I'm simply guessing what the lawyer is planning to do based on what he said so far.

From what I could tell, the shooter was still in his car. The victim was taking the baby out of his car when he got shot.
