I just restarted 2033 after trying 3 times in the past 1.5 year. Couldn't get passed the "nazi front" mission where you start under a cart and gets broke on the way. Dunno why, maybe I was trying too "Rambo" style.

Saturday I got passed that point and gone mostly stealth and it was great. After that point the game gets even more tense and awesome.

2033 is a gem.

I guess I'm in the minority - played four hours and have to make myself play, instead of wanting to play it.

It's a completely different game than 2033, except for setting, and everything has been dumbed down.

Stealth is a joke with people being shot by silencers 10 feet away from others that don't notice, or not being able to spot you right in front of them without their headlamp on. The difficulty is FAR easier; I remember having trouble with parts in 2033 it took quite a few tries to get fast. The gun customization went from something you looked forward to doing to 'who cares' since so many modded guns drops (and the gun customization UI is console-horribad).

I lump Last Light with Bioshock Infinite - pretty games with a cool atmosphere and hardly any actual fun gameplay.

Man.. I was playing this game last night for a couple hours and I must say, this is probably one of the best looking PC games out now next to Crysis 3. I have been playing @ 1440p with ultra settings and PhysX enabled and some areas of this game just made my Jaw drop. This game is gorgeous.

I want to work my way through the game, but there's just enough "horror" in it that I have to take breathers; and of course I always end up playing something else that I can handle!

I'll get back to it someday, I promise!

I started Bioshock Infinite expecting to like it base on reviews and then found it to be kind of hokey and boring. I switched to Last Light and have liked it a lot more. I was bogging down early on and hit some spots where I was getting 6-8 fps (AMD 7850 1920x1080). Then I turned PhysX off and got back over 60fps with most everything else maxed out.
