The link I couldn't find was the one to the statements made by the Deputy Director of Analysis when he spoke to congress.

That is why I posted the follow up post with a link and direct quote of the guy.

Let me make it simple for you:
One of the guys who wrote the NIE went before congress only 5 months ago and said that Iran WAS working on a nuclear bomb.

In the span of about 3 months the guy goes from Iran is making a nuke to Iran hasn't been working on a nuke since 2003.
That is a major problem.

Was he totally wrong in July?
Was he totally wrong in the NIE?
Or do we just not have any real clue as to what is going on in Iran?

Sadly the intelligence failures of 9/11 and Iraq make you wonder about anything these people say.

• The Bushwhackos were stovepiping "intel" for their assessments for years to pimp their War of LIES in Iraq to Congress, the American people and the world.
  
  What makes you think anyone from the DNI would provide any "intel" to Congress or anyone else that ran contrary to the Bushwhackos' objective of fear mongering the nation over Iranian nukes?
  
• We already know your TRAITOR IN CHEIF was informed about the current NIE on Iran at least four months ago, but he claims he only learned the details, last week.
  
  Even if that statement weren't so blatantly incredible on its face, given his consistant, proven history of lying to pimp his objectives and cover his own crimes and those of his administration, why should we believe him, now?
  
• We already know your VICE TRAITOR IN CHIEF worked to suppress the latest NIE for over a year.
  
  What did he know, and when did he know it?

There is NO reason to believe anyone from the Bushwhacko administration about anything they say at any time.

Given your long, consistant history of lying, dissembling and diverting attention from the truth about this criminal administration, there is NO reason to believe anything you say, either. :roll:

Nice try. What you're saying is that sometimes the President has justifiable reasons to lie to the American people, and to the world at large. I agree with this.

This is not anywhere close to one of those cases though. The President was lying to us invoking the spectre of a nuclear war with Iran. He was fearmongering the same way he did before the Iraq war. And to what end? To pressure the Iranians to stop making the nuclear weapons he knew they weren't making? Psssh.

Try and cover for him all you want, any rational person knows that this was completely unacceptable, and an abuse of his position of trust. (does it even count as a position of trust anymore for him? seems like nobody believes a word that comes out of his mouth)
