LAWL! I love Gerry Rafferty (actually still have a vinyl I bought back in 1979! Wow, I'm old) but double-tracked vocals belong to Jeff Lynne. As annoying as they may be when you're listening to Jeff Lynne produced George Harrison or Tom Petty albums because they make you think that maybe you're listening to an unreleased ELO track, there's no denying who's doing the vocals.
