Hunters with certain weapons were changed (anything slower than 2.8 attack speed) just because of the retarded crits they could pull off with aimed/multi shot. You could literally occasionally one-shot mages and pretty consistantly take them to 1/2-1/3'rd their health with a couple shots. Even better was firing off a multishot into a zerg in AV and seeing it crit all three times for 1000+ damage.
I copied a hunter over to the test realm and PVP'ed a lot with him. With the hunter epic quest reward bow, I was still pulling off 2000+ crits from Aimed shot (often without even applying Hunter's Mark). It didn't happen all the time, but it was great when it did. Nothing like seeing a mage or priest that's already taken some damage drop in one shot.
The trap thing kind of sucks for hunters too.
Even after all the changes, it makes me want to get my hunter up to 60 and get him all purped out so I can PVP in battlegrounds. It was WAY more fun than my mage.
