Tremulant and I experienced some weird online problems this morning. My combat log was informing me that Tremulant was battling. Yet, I was sitting next to him. I asked him if he was fighting and he said ?yes.?
Tremulant did you know I killed a couple of monsters that were attacking you while you were leisurely sitting down? I was wondering why you weren?t defending yourself. Was I sitting while you were fighting?

Special big thanks from me to you Bloodrunner for teaching me how to swim underwater. With your help I was able to complete the tool quest. I appreciate your patience and understanding while breaking in a rookie gamer.

Yeah.. while I was fighting, I saw you just sitting there still. It confused me. But, when you moved, you moved on my screen. I dunno. I lag on that server since it's on the west coast, and I'm on the east coast. Well, I think it's on the west coast.. my ping times are 130-200ish, whereas on malygos they rarely pass 130. Plus, the time is 3 hrs less than EST.

It was weird though, cause when the gnolls attacked, I was fighting them along with you, lol.

I think this was mentioned before, but do we want to set up a small guild site somewhere? Starting to be a lot of information to keep track of in this thread, even having a small forum to keep track of meeting times and quests completed as well as a way to communicate items we have to share (I have a set of mail pants and a shield I'm not using if anyone needs them - and if not if there are any enchanters that want to disenchant). I have a web server running at home, not a lot of bandwidth but would easily support a small group like this. Others have mentioned having web space available. We could start with basic forums and work on creating something more fancy (like an interface where people could update character and profession levels). I can code PHP and build database structures, but have 0 creativity when it comes to web design.

Some of this will be mitigated once the guild is formed and we get the guild chat channel, but that still requires people to be logged in at the same time.

I'm working on herbalism/alchemy.

Right now I'm doing Bingles' Missing supplies and there 1 item left, but it's guarded by 3 troggs. And everytime I kill one, another spawns in it's place. It's annoying, to say the least.

One reason why I will never do that quest ever again. Right up there with that lockbox quest in Darkshore. No matter how quickly you kill those troggs, new ones spawn into place and it becomes impossible to loot that last item. You need to team up and have someone draw the troggs away while you loot then switch places. Even in a group it is impossible to kill the troggs fast enough.

EDIT: Just after I posted this response, I was looking on the WoW forums, and someone there had posted about this very same issue. Kind of weird.

Heh. I've given up on it for now. Went to IF to see what I could sell.

Maybe later on I'll return to finish it. It's not that important, the gloves received from that quest aren't that important.

I'm all up for this idea. I do have some web design experince and some free time at work to develop some pages. I just need a place to send the files and a way for all the members to provide feedback.

I know it will be Superbowl Sunday and most of you will be watching the game but if at least five of us aren?t going to be watching it could be fun to make a run through Deadmines Sunday afternoon.

Also tonight I am going to complete the guild charter using one of my son?s characters.

Can anyone make 8-slot bags yet? I already have the 6-slot ones but wouldn't mind getting more room since I have one less bag slot than everyone else (Hunter).

Photon (kissnup) can make 8-slot bags. If you send her the wool, she'll make them for you w/o a problem.

I know how that is with a hunter though. I kinda got used to it though, it was weird having all my bag slots.

I got a nice deal on some 8-slot bags at the AH a few days ago. Someone was selling two 8-slot bags and the buyout was 2s 50c on each of them. Needless to say, they're mine.

Once you get used to it it's not so bad, you simply have to pull mobs rather than charging ahead.

Update 6:

Hello to all again and welcome to the latest installment of the Knights of Nef. Dette, Tremulant, & I logged in on Saturday and completed some more quests in Westfall and a few errand quests leading up to the Defias Messenger Quest. It looks like we might be ready for Van Cleef and the rest of the Deadmine quests by this weekend if we can get a tank. I suggest meeting in Westfall at 5:00 pm PST for gathering a group to complete Deadmines.

I also finished the guild charter by asking a stranger to sign the charter. We can now start discussing the Message of the Day and what are tabard should look like.

I just bought the game this weekend. I really don't know anyone that plays so I'd like to join up with you guys to play. I currently have a lvl 8 Orc Hunter on Bronzebeard, but I have no problem scrapping him to play on the Alliance side. I do like playing a hunter though, so I'll probably stick with that class.
