Never too late. Be what ever class you want to play, rather be happy than go along with the group. I'm sure there will be times you go it on your own and it would suck to have to play a class you hate.

Go with whatever class you like. We pretty much have all the bases covered so there isn't any one class we really NEED to have.

I finally got to play last night and got up to level 6. I am now in Goldshire. I will put you guys on my buddy list and I can't make the scheduled play times, I will seek you out randomly...

I'm glad you where able to play last night Mwilding.

I was wondering for our next group meeting if everyone was still good with a Sunday afternoon around 2:00 PST or should we set another date and/or time?

I also would like to now if there were any minor quests we all could complete on our own before our next meeting or should we just try and stick together?

You know Bronzebread is a PvE server where you can play both Alliance and Horde on. I guess there isn't a solid reason why some of us couldn't play horde and the other alliance.

Would kind of defeat the idea of partying up and playing together, but raiding each others camps could be fun too...

As for the play time, I will probably have difficulty making it at that time on a consistent basis, since that is 5PM eastern time and it will typically interfere with dinner. Later in the evening would be better for me, but then that would get to be dinner time for those on the west coast.

As for questing, for the low levels it won't matter as much. As the quest progression heads towards running instances, it will become more important for people to make sure they have completed any prerequisite quests. So long as we can keep tabs on what level and generally what quest lines the bulk of the group is working towards, the others can log in and play catchup when they can.

For a guild name I was thinking something like Dukes of Anandtech or Anandtech Order.

How about some sort of inside joke?

e.g. Ducknuts, YAGT or Nef

The Knights of Nef sounds like a good name. Fodder for the name police, but there is always a chance that it wouldn't get reported. People might read "Nef" as "Nerf" and get confoosled.

Nope, sorry don't have any characters on that server. You might want to join the group though as it has been great fun so far. Note for the group I'll probably be on tonight and leveling my dwarf a little bit before I work on my mage on another server for a while. Will start around 12:00 am MST and go on for a while. If you guys want I could start on the paperwork for the guild of the "Knights of Nef" . I like the name as well. Oh and if we want to setup forums/webpage, or anything like that later I do have a server available.

Knights of Nef sounds good to me.

Has anyone have any other time they would like to meet? Saturday or Sunday late afternoon or evening? Our kids are in bed by 9:00 pm EST, 6:00 pm server time, so we could be available anytime after that.

For those of you who are disappointed the Alliance was chosen over the Horde, doesn?t mean a Horde AT group isn?t feasible. I think the most important thing right now is to have the majority of ATOTr?s on the same server. Some of us, like myself, would eventually like to play Horde.

I suggest, it?s only a suggestion, if you?re considering setting up a new character and can?t decide between PVP or PVE, go with the Bronzebeard server and join us. I believe there are 10-12 ATOTr?s on there with some becoming members of the new future guild. At least that?s a good start.

Up to level 7 now. Working on the Goldshire quests. Should hit level 10 and get my Voidwalker this weekend.

I was looking at the quests and Darkshore looks like a good place to quest for level 10-20. Anyone up for a roadtrip?

OK guys this week the meeting time is this Sunday 1/23/04 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm server time (PST) in Goldshire. I?m thinking this might work better for most people who can make a two-hour window. Players can come and go as they like and we have enough people playing to allow at least two different groups. I understand some of you have been playing though the week and might be leveled beyond where we left off so I can see two different group parties already. My wife and I are still at the level we logged out at and will be continuing with the quest lines that lead us to the eastern side of Elwynn Forest.

I think at this point we need to start forming our guild. If no one has a problem with the suggested names I would be happy to add a poll or we could do a PM vote. We have a chat channel do the next time you login type ?/join atot? to join the channel.

If you want to PM me your character?s level I would be happy to add it to the list.

That is exactly where I am at now. My active quests are "Explore Jasperlode Mine" and whatever Guard Thomas gives you when you meet him (2 or 3 I forget...) I haven't started any of these.

I'd probably be joining on the later end of that time window. The Stillers game doesn't start until 6:30.

As for questing in Darkshore, that would make the druid (closer to the druid trainers) happy but make life tough for the paladins. Also, there aren't any class trainers that I can remember in Darkshore. Every 2 levels you have to sail back over to Darnassus to do your training (except for the paladins who would have to travel back to IF or Stormwind). The natural quest progression from Elwynn will lead to Westfall (everyone probably already has the quest to speak to Gryan Stoutmantle) and eventually to the deadmines and VanCleef. Westfall leads to Redridge/Lakeshire which leads to Duskwood/Darkshire, though I wouldn't mind if the group decided to jump over to Kalimdor to quest (I've quested in Darkshore and Ashenvale and a little in Stonetalon).
