I still have my CD of that. It was a load of balls back in the day because i would always build condos and go bankrupt in the end with only condos, got addictive when i realised offices were a decent source of income.
I think simcity 3000 was the last decent simcity game, i played 2000 first, it was awesome then i played the first one which was meh... You never like the first game if youve played the new and improved in every way sequal first, same with star trek armada II and diablo II. Simcity 3000 was pretty good, i didnt like them losing arcos and hydro power or the fact i had to replace every damn utility structure every so often, real PITA. But overall i had a lot of fun with it. Then simcity 4 came along, it ran like ass, slow ass thats stuck in tar... Plus i could never ever get the entire city to look nice, buildings would always look dirty because they were abandoned due to commute time due to the frickin sim AI in the game being trash, who the hell takes the shortest route over the quickest?? I had an excellent education system in my city, they shouldve taught the sims that the shortest route isnt the quickest!
