That D3 shadowing makes all other games look like, well, Doom 1.
it's ok.. That pixar demo is somewhat impressive, though I don't think it's quite as good as the real one on Pixar movies (can't have it all!).
I just wish I could have seen what the Rampage could have done..
btw, as with quake 3, Doom looks to be a game I won't care about, except possibly for benchmarking the Geforce 3 (why oh why did they keep that name?).
I'm holding my breath for space sims, strategy games, racing games like Gran Turismo for the PC, and things like that.. I'm not too big on FPS games, though I'm ok at em (I beat everyone in my class at school in UT on Celeron 500's, though the computer kept crashing, so I couldn't get into a good rythme.. ahh well, I enjoyed fast non-laggy action for once in my life), I certainly will get next to nothing out of them becuase I'm not capable of getting any sort of broadband out here..
