wow. Vonage setup is EASY! Truely "Plug-n-Play"

Initially, I thought it had poor documentation. But after plugging in all the cables into the Linksys RT312P2, 2 minutes later, it worked. I didn't even need to run setup. Awesome!

This is what I truely consider Plug and play.

My old setup:

(Comcast cable modem)-->(Speedstream wireless router)-->(RePlayTV, Apple Airport Express-[USB printer, My Stereo Receiver]). I use only a laptop and access internet via wireless.

New setup:

(Comcast cable modem)-->(Linksys RT312P2)-->(Fax machine, RePlayTV, Apple Airport Express-USB printer-My receiver).

Now, I wish there is some way to charge my laptop wirelessly

Old monthly phone bill: $19 without any local/long distance. $0.10 per local call
new phone bill: $16.56 w/ 500 min local/long distance.

Along with my cell phone, this is the most cost effective solution.

Vonage even tossed in a FREE HAT

Mind power, it's not that hard really. I reccomend starting with a beginner's level skill though such as bending spoons with your mind.

No, more like just wait until you have problems (receiving calls, low voice quality, call drops) and you try to reach customer service.

/current vonage customer that hasn't reached customer service by email/phone for a week

My install was painless. Voice quality is great. No problems here.

I was wondering is it easy to have more then one phone with same number?

I've dropped calls on Vonage quite a few times. Strangely, it only happens if I'm on the phone for a few hours straight or more. Then I get disconnected from whomever I speak with and get a busy signal. I just call back though.

If you connect it to your house wiring, you can have as many phones as you have jacks. Or you can just buy one of those cordless phone systems that all run off a single base unit.
